Environmental Ballistic Pack:

Broadcasting Ecotain environmental plantain and clover is an ideal approach when looking to extend the life of damaged winter pastures. In the form of a 12 kg pack, this is a very useful addition to fertiliser via a tractor or bike spreader in the spring. The pack is designed to be enough seed to broadcast across 1 ha. The prillcote^® coating adds a 100% weightage to the seed, meaning a little goes a long way and the seed can spread further to reduce the banding risk (see left).

The key to success with broadcasting is based on the openness of pasture and seed to soil contact is essential. Adding Ecotain and white clover to pasture is also a great way to increase summer forage quality. With the clover component, this pack is ideal for adding into pastures that are lacking legume content.
